SyncUno ("we," "our," "us"), a platform built by VAAR Networks Inc., provides recruiter-focused chat and scheduling widgets. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when candidates and recruiters use our services.
2. Information We Collect
- Candidate Information: Name, email, phone, resumes, uploaded documents, chat messages, job applications, and booked meetings.
- Recruiter Information: Account details, profile information, communication history with candidates.
- Automatically Collected Data: Device/browser identifiers, cookies, session IDs, IP addresses, usage analytics.
- Third-Party Integrations: With your explicit consent, we access external services (e.g., Google Calendar, Office 365, Zoom) to read availability, schedule interviews, and create video meetings.
3. How We Use Information
- Enable candidates to upload resumes and apply for jobs.
- Allow recruiters to review applications, schedule interviews, and chat with candidates.
- Analyze resumes against job descriptions using AI models (skills matching, gap analysis, relevancy).
- Send notifications, reminders, and updates about interviews and application status.
- Improve our platform through aggregated analytics and feedback.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with:
- Recruiters & Companies: Candidate resumes, chat history, and application details are shared only with the recruiter/company to whom you apply or engage.
- Service Providers: Hosting, storage, AI model providers, and communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
- Legal Authorities: When required by law.
5. Data Security & Retention
- Data (including resumes and chat logs) is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- AI analysis results are stored securely and linked only to the candidate’s application.
- Calendar tokens and meeting credentials are stored securely and used only for scheduled events.
- We retain candidate data as long as the recruiter’s account remains active or until deletion is requested.
6. Candidate Rights
Depending on jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), candidates may request:
- Access to their resume, chat, and application data.
- Deletion of their data and uploaded resumes.
- Withdrawal of consent for AI-based analysis.
- Export of their data for reuse elsewhere.
7. Recruiter Responsibilities
Recruiters using SyncUno agree to use candidate data solely for recruiting purposes and in compliance with applicable laws.
8. Third-Party Services
When connecting to Google, Microsoft, Zoom, or similar, their privacy policies apply in addition to ours.
9. Google API Limited Use Disclosure
SyncUno’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:
- We only request access to Google Calendar free/busy times and, if enabled, to create new interview events.
- We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising.
- We do not sell or share Google user data with third parties.
- We only use the data to provide scheduling functionality between candidates and recruiters.
- Access tokens are stored securely and used solely for user-authorized actions.
- Users may revoke SyncUno’s access to their Google account at any time via their Google security settings.
